July 12, 2021Orlando.- The American Health Care Association (AHCA) and the National Center for Assisted Living (NCAL) held their annual convention in Orlando, Florida where Serena’s CEO, Miguel A. Torres attended the event from October 13th to the 16th.
Attendees were able to learn more about the long term care industry directly from influential speakers and education programs, along with networking opportunities that allowed Serena to learn and develop new strategies and discover new solutions for the future of Assisted Living in México.
This year’s theme was Superheroes and of course Superspeakers like world-renowned presidential historian Doris Kearns Goodwin; she opened the general session with: Association Update & Leadership in Turbulent Times, where she shared her deep understanding of the ambition, resolution and resilience of some of the United States most revered presidents. Goodwin explained how past setbacks and triumphs shed light on the cultural, economic and political transformations that define today’s turbulent times.
